About

Dr. Debbie Anello- Vet Mokena
Veterinarian

Dr. Debbie Anello

Dr. Debbie’s aspirations to become a veterinarian started at an early age and has remained an important focus in her life. This Orland Park native graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine with High Honors in 2010. With over 10 years of clinical experience, Dr. Debbie has a wealth of knowledge with particular interest in internal medicine. She is committed to providing high quality medicine in your home so your pet (and you!) can be comfortable and happy. Dr. Debbie is  certified as a Hospice and Palliative Care Veterinarian, Pet Nutrition Coach, in Low Stress Handling techniques, and Companion Animal Euthanasia Training to strengthen her commitment to excellence.

When not loving on all her sweet, furry patients, Dr. Debbie enjoys spending time with her husband, Nick, and two daughters. She loves snuggling with her pets in the comfort of her Mokena home.

Veterinary Assistant

Ms. Kerry Hourigan

Kerry is our amazing and invaluable assistant at Heart to Home Vet. She and Dr. Debbie have worked side by side for over 10 years. Kerry has a wealth of experience as a veterinary assistant and is an incredible asset to our team. Kerry is very passionate about caring for animals and brings her gentle nature with her in each interaction. Kerry strives to make a difference in the life of each and every pet she meets whether it is by getting her Low Stress Handling Certification to provide the best experience possible or working to find ways to help animals outside of work by fostering a litter or helping connect a pet in need with its furever home. When Kerry is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, cockatoo and 4 dogs, perfecting her adorably decorated country home, and spending time outdoors!

Primary Client Care Representative

Ms. Stephanie Dudley

With over 15 years of experience in the field, Stephanie is all about giving your furry friends the best care possible. Stephanie is our amazing primary Client Care Representative here at Heart to Home Vet and ready to assist you every step of the way. Starting off as an animal care attendant in 2007, she then went on to become a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2011. Initially, Stephanie wanted to pursue Emergency medicine, but ultimately found her passion in client care, building paws-itive connections with pet parents.

When not at the clinic, she loves to travel with her husband and son. In her little bits of spare time, Stephanie enjoys reading and drawing, and is also a big fan of video games, comic books, and science fiction. At home, she has a ridiculous Border Collie mix named Ellie (short for Mozzarella!) and two very bossy, needy cats named Ty & Oliver that run the household.

Client Care Representative

Ms. Arlene McIntyre

Arlene is another one of our experienced and incredible Client Care Representatives here at Heart to Home Vet. Arlene has always loved animals and spent most of her childhood bringing home various critters.  When she discovered that she could have a career caring for animals, Arlene jumped at the chance and has never had a day she didn’t love going to work!  Arlene graduated from the University of Guelph – Ridgetown College in 2001 and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2002.  Over the years, she has been blessed with the opportunity to work with many great people and their adorable pets, as well as a number of fun and interesting species through her externship at the Metro Toronto Zoo during her time at an ophthalmology referral practice. Her most memorable patient was a polar bear!

Arlene and her family live in Southern Ontario and share their home with their crazy dog Norm, a trouble-making orange cat named Hitch, and a snuggly bearded dragon named Spike. In Arlene’s spare time, she loves cooking (the more complicated and fancy the recipe, the more fun!), gardening and spending time with her family – having 5 teenagers that are always coming and going keeps her house busy!

We take your pet’s comfort seriously!
