Dr. Debbie’s aspirations to become a veterinarian started at an early age and has remained an important focus in her life. This Orland Park native graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine with High Honors in 2010. With over 10 years of clinical experience, Dr. Debbie has a wealth of knowledge with particular interest in internal medicine. She is committed to providing high quality medicine in your home so your pet (and you!) can be comfortable and happy. Dr. Debbie is certified as a Hospice and Palliative Care Veterinarian, Pet Nutrition Coach, in Low Stress Handling techniques, and Companion Animal Euthanasia Training to strengthen her commitment to excellence.
When not loving on all her sweet, furry patients, Dr. Debbie enjoys spending time with her husband, Nick, and two daughters. She loves snuggling with her pets in the comfort of her Mokena home.
Amanda, or as many of you know her as Rasta’s mom, is our indispensable assistant at Heart to Home Vet. For those that have already had the privilege of meeting Amanda know, she is very kind and compassionate person who strives to connect with others and excel in every task she takes on. Her love for animals is apparent in the gentle way she interacts with each pet she encounters. In an effort to benefit her interactions with pets, Amanda is working to complete her AVMA Veterinary Technician Degree, and has completed her Canine Massage Therapy and Low-Stress Handling Certifications. Despite all of these commitments on top of working with us, Amanda enjoys spending time outside with her dogs, yoga and meditation, horticulture, and adventure.
Kerry is another one of our amazing and invaluable assistants at Heart to Home Vet. Kerry is very passionate about caring for animals and brings her gentle nature with her in each interaction. Kerry strives to make a difference in the life of each and every pet she meets whether it is by getting her Low Stress Handling Certification to provide the best experience possible or working to find ways to help animals outside of work by fostering a litter or helping connect a pet in need with its furever home. Kerry splits her time working with us both on the truck and remotely to help answer your calls. You may even hear her cockatoo or darling little daughter chatting it up in the background. When Kerry is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and 4 dogs, perfecting her adorably decorated country home, and spending time outdoors!
We take your pet’s comfort seriously!
